Robert F. Kennedy Jr. recently expressed a slew of criticism against Vice President Kamala Harris after he reportedly tried to meet with her and failed to receive a response.
In comments posted on X, Kennedy insisted that he will not endorse Harris and said the Democratic Party’s ideology has changed dramatically since the time of his uncle, President John F. Kennedy.
He wrote: “VP Harris’s Democratic Party would be unrecognizable to my father and uncle and I cannot reconcile it with my values.”
He went on to identify many of the issues that numerous Americans have with Harris and her party, noting: “VP Harris‘s is the party of censorship, lockdowns, and medical coercion.”
The Biden administration famously implemented a vaccine mandate for federal contractors that forced people to choose between their livelihood and their constitutional right to health freedom. They introduced numerous other mandates, such as vaccines for healthcare workers, and were accused of rushing the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines for children before carrying out enough research and testing into their safety. Many of their mandates have since been proven to be unlawful, and the vaccines have also led to countless health problems in Americans of all ages, including children.
“I’ve spent years battling government corruption and lies. VP Harris spent years gaslighting Americans about the health of our Commander in Chief,” he added.
President Biden has been experiencing cognitive decline for several years, and it has gotten significantly worse in recent months, but Kamala Harris and other higher-ups in the Biden administration have gone out of their way to cover it up and dismiss concerns about his mental health. Working alongside him in her capacity as vice president, it is highly unlikely she was not aware of his problems, which means she played a part in deceiving the American public.
He summarized some of Harris’s other failings as well, writing: “My father and uncle prided themselves on their skills at debate and their ability to articulate a coherent vision for our country. VP Harris is scared to debate and can’t survive an unscripted interview. Instead of outlining a vision, she relies on middleschool tactics – memes, forged headlines, infantile slogans (Joy!) and name calling (“Republicans are weird.“)”
Although his criticisms of Harris are fair, they are believed to have come after he tried to meet with her to discuss a potential position in her administration in exchange for dropping out of the race and endorsing her. He reportedly did not receive a response, prompting him to voice his frustrations on the social media platform.
He said he hopes she will reconsider the meeting, noting: “I think it is a strategic mistake for them. That’s my perspective. I think they ought to be looking at every opportunity. I think it is going to be a very close race.”
He met with Republican nominee Donald Trump last month, and they reportedly discussed exchanging a endorsement from RFK Jr. for a position in a potential Trump administration advising the president on health policy. Although it did not lead to anything official, campaign advisers for Trump said that they remain in touch with Kennedy.
RFK Jr. remains in the presidential race and has rallies scheduled for Arizona and Nebraska. One poll shows him attracting 5% of support from American voters.
